We were the absolute first tenants to stay in CdA and we will always remember that. The modern houses are very spacious and have all amenities: new bathrooms, good beds, equipped kitchen, air conditioning, etc. They are also equipped for children - cot, high chair. Our daughter had the time of her life there. The house is located on a ridge on the edge of the village. It is the ideal base for day trips in central Portugal and walks through the mountainous area. You can relax at the large swimming pool. If you had any questions, you could contact both the owners and Adelaide, the English speaking lady that takes care of the house. We received useful tips about restautants, trips,… In short, the stay is highly recommended to discover the real Portugal.

Casa das Andorinhas is highly recommended for those who want to find peace and quiet in this picturesque Portuguese village, enjoy a sporty excursion into the green mountain landscape or simply take a refreshing dip in the beautiful swimming pool. There are 2 comfortably furnished casas, everything is available, and what a view! Finally, in terms of location, Penela is also a good base for a visit to Coimbra, Tomar, the coastal region, etc. In short: highly recommended! We enjoyed our stay here immensely. We will definitely come back again.

Although this stay was a last-minute due to corona, our stay here was not too bad. We really enjoyed the entire casa and the peace and quietness that prevails here. The region is also really appealed to us. Our kids had a lot of fun in the pool. Thank you for the stay, the flexibility and the service (also from Adelaide)

What a beautiful house! Everything you need, including the swimming pool! Very cozy village where you will find everything you need. Very nice excursions. Nearby and a little further... This was our first time here (Bruno, Siska and Emilia) but certainly not our last
